    Plant Of Horror 2

    Plant Of Horror 2

As I saw it, Horror Plant 2, is a very weird interactive horror story with carnivorous man eating plant in the main role. Warning for younger players!!!

Although the game was made in a cartoonish style, with completely unrealistic characters (there is even one giant snail, the size of an adult dog), I simply have to warn the younger players about certain scenes. There is a scene where the monster-plant decapitates the guard and later on it devours the doctor who enters the house via roof. If you feel that this is something you shouldn't see, don't. Simply skip this game altogether.

Despite the warning, and regardless of the word 'horror' in the title, the game doesn't contain jumpscares, and it is not scary at all.

    How to play

There is only one sentence to be found in the instructions segment: 'use mouse to interact' and that is it. This is rather typical for so called 'point and click' games, and specially for 'causality' sub-category, which this 'Horror Plant' series belongs to.

    What is it about

This is an indie game with appealing graphics but rather slow and monotonous gameplay. The scene is colourful, rich in detail, with lots of 'cartoonish' characters. This is the story of one dangerous forest man-eating plant, which kills the guard, enters the house and devours its residents. The player engages occasionally, only when the animation comes to a stop. To reactivate the game/animation you need to find a certain object and click on it. The game was made in such a way that there is only one possible object which needs to be clicked, so the story could continue to the next point, where the action from the player is expected once again.

    Author

The author of the game is called 'Gudas'. The first part of the game was published in 2010. on Kongregate website. The author likes to explore, as he says, the 'artistic' aspect of flash animations. That explains the 'weirdness' of the Horror Plant, which is also his only game so far.
