Exmortis 2

Exomortis 2 is a mixture of interactive horror game and point and click adventure.

First part of this horror trilogy was made back in 2004. and this second sequel was made in 2006. The interesting thing is that technically this game absolutely can parry today's online horror games, and as far as storyline goes this is one of the best conceived horror series of all times. The player has the liberty of choice, while some roads lead to death only one leads to the exit.

The author is an indie developer Ben Leffler (Leffler Web Design) from Australia.

Who are Exmortis?

Exmortis is a daemon cult, an army of creatures from beyond which very much resemble zombies, but are more mobile, more dangerous and lethal. Their leader is an unscrupulous ruler Lord Vlaew. After the doorway between the Earth and the Spirit World was opened, Exmortis have launched an invasion. United Nations, powerless against the attack of these conquerors, approve on the mass use of nuclear weapons. However that deters the attack only for so long.

Genocide

Collapse of the human civilization was inevitable. Every resistance was quelled in blood. This chapter was labeled as 'Genocide'. At the end you realize that you were the one who enabled, with your doings in the first sequel, the embodiment and coming of these evil spirits and that you are that link between worlds.

What is it about?

In Exmortis 2 you roam the ruins of the old world searching for survivors and hiding from Exmortis at the same time. On your way you make strange allies, common enemies. In an old church you find information on how to defeat Exmortis and find your way out. Fate of mankind rests now on your shoulders.
