Hell Hall

In this game you run for your life down the endless hall. Hell Hall is relatively old scary game, published in 2011, but due to its original design and original music it deserves to find its place on our list even after all this time.

Endless runner with obstacles

This is not just an ordinary endless runner with obstacles. It basically is that, but...far weirder than everything you have ever played before. All objects and obstacles in the game are very realistic. Even the main character - the runner. It is very likely that it is developer himself or perhaps somebody he knows. While you run, you come across scattered boxes, water pipes, cupboards and various other obstacles. If you trip and fall 3 times, the monster will catch up with you. And that is not an IF, but rather WHEN. So, the goal is to run as far as possible.

Lacks

I have to admit that controls are not the best. Besides the fact that the game is after each movement slowly pulling you toward the center of the hallway, it seems like the runner is not reacting on every press on the key, but is rather a bit delayed. The scene has 3D perspective, and it is not all too clear where the runner is in regard to the obstacle. The game would be more interesting is some jump scare moments were incorporated, at least as a distraction. Score submit doesn't work, but that is no wonder because the game was mochi once.

Controls

You use arrow keys to avoid obstacles: left and right, duck and jump. You can make three mistakes, after that IT will catch up with you. After that, it is the end.
