Killer Escape 3

Killer Escape 3 is a third game in a row of the famous horror series. It is placed on space station and player is trying to escape the serial killer. Somewhat clumsily, the game connects the previous two episodes. In the first one we have caused the boiler to explode and that killed the first captor. In Killer Escape 2 you are escaping dentist office and the psychopath called "The Tooth Fairy". And now, those attempts of escaping are continuing through one sic-fi adventure. Here you encounter alien beings and find out about genetic researches done on humans. Hm, perhaps what you see are not exactly aliens.

Author

The author of an entire Killer Escape series is just one man called 'Si Benett'. This Englishman did the whole game all by himself, including programming, music and design. So that makes Killer escape practically an indie game. Other games from this developer (psionic games) are already part of crazyscarygames.com collection like: Ghostscape, Urbex and Being One - all great games by the way. Although every game is good in its own way, recognizable style of this author still connects them. They are all point and click, basically escape games, and all of them belong to sci-fi horror genre. The excitement about Killer escape 3 has barely subsided, but fans are already asking about the release of the next sequel Killer Escape 4. Still, it is unlikely something like that would happen in near future.

The initial author's idea was to make this game in Unity, as 3D game. However, he quickly dropped it, because mastering Unity would take a lot of extra time. One of the original ideas in Killer Escape 3 was to put more then one serial killer in the game. That would be interesting to see. Anyways, first steps were made in January and beta release was on June 14. 2014.

Impressions/Player's comments

• The idea to introduce aliens into the game was not too good. They are simply not scary.
• The game is a bit complicated and not scary.
• There's no killer to escape, so it probably shouldn't even be called killer escape anymore
• Lacking in gross stuff, dead bodies, blood & gore ...
• It resembles the new episode of Being One.
• The ending leaves the potential for making yet another sequel : Killer Escape 4.
• Pretty annoying font - it was supposed to be fancy, but instead it is only hard to read. Completely unnecessary.
