Vortex Point 5 - Solving A Murder Case

Scary Hotel is not the best place to spend Halloween weekend at. Caroline and Craig left the Vortex Point as well as most of others so you are expecting boring day with nothing to investigate, and that's what you are - the investigator of paranormal. You are something like Fox Molder in the X-files. When you go outside you'll even see a sign which reads 'Never stop believing' with a flying courser on it.

The first thing you do on your boring day is going to the movies to watch some classic horrors. You are watching "Night Of The Vampire" and you are all alone in the cinema. Something like in "Last Action Hero" with Schwarzenegger, the main hero looks exactly as you like you somehow showed up in the movie. And, to your satisfaction, the movie is about a murder case you are about to solve.

The rest of this point and click adventure is in black & white, about you solving a case by going around the town and talking to people. You can go and ask a fortune teller, go to the Cooper's castle, hear the roomers at Joe's tavern and so on. Just like in an old movie, everything is black and white and everybody look grumpy and suspicious.
