Shootout Showdown - FNAF Shooter

Shootout Showdown is an FNAF inspired simple shooter game, something like Animatronics Jumpscare Factory and Clown Nights FNAF.

The idea is to create a game based on a well-known scenario from the original game, with all the animatronics we used to play against there, to rework that and offer a brand new spin-off. The intention was not creating a better game, not even a sequel, but to milk out the well-known series just a little bit more and earn them a bunch of new downloads. Spin-offs based on super popular games are nothing new. And this one is a real example. The devs have actually gone one step further. They've made a mobile version which you can download from the QR code.Obviously, they couldn't get it on Google play in a usual way because of obvious copyright issues.

The game is not bad. It's a classic shooter. You have a shotgun on you and a bunch of ammo. Actually, ammo is limitless. The only trick is that you need to reload the gun after you shoot 5 rounds. The problem with this is that your time is very tight and very precision. Reloading will burn you a couple of precious seconds which animatronics will use to get even closer and finally get you.

Similar to the original you have multiple views. But instead of cameras observing the rooms, you have a switch to actually move from one room to another. There are two rooms in which animatronics randomly appear, and your job is to shoot them before they get too close. Once the animatronic grabs you, it start beating a s***t out of you and you will probably die in a matter of seconds.

If you play an easy mode, the game will be way too easy, if not boring. But, if you activate 'extreme mode' things will get a lot harder and a lot more interesting. Staying alive in this mode is a real challenge.

Don't forget that in the end of the day, this is just an endless shooter, so things get repetitive after a while.

Also, this is not a horror game. The music is spooky, animatronics are aggressive and very loud with all the screaming, but that's pretty much it. No jumpscares, no thrills, no chills.

One of the best out of not so many youtube walkthroughs I've looked through is made by a guy who calls himself 'RadioactiveHuskey'. It'll give you a pretty decent insight of what this game is and what it is not.
