Closure

Closure is a flash puzzle platformer based on game of shadows. It is very stylish, almost artistic adventure game, with eerie atmosphere and challenging puzzles, but the game is not scary, so no worries about that.

The gameplay is very interesting and it engages quite original concept. You play as some unknown guy, obviously lost in a strange black and white world called Closure, and he's running around looking for the exit door. Not only that he cannot see what's hiding in the dark, whether it's some object, a path or simply nothing, but that is also changing depending on the player's position. The light play games with the player's mind.

Each level's scene is differently setup, but it's always about using the light balls in the right way. Your job, in order to find the exit, is to figure out which way to go and when to pick and where to drop the light ball. By using a trial and error method you eventually get to the door.

The original Closure version was only available as a flash game. In the meantime authors have decided to develop a full game version which is now available on Steam store: http://store.steampowered.com/app/72000/. The game won multiple awards in the meantime. The first difference is that you get to play there as a little spider-looking devilish creature, instead of an ordinary guy like in this flash original version.

The game lags occasionally especially if you try it in full screen mode.

How to play/ controls

Walk with arrow keys, use space bar to pick up the or to drop a ball. If you ever get stuck by falling into a trap, press K or R or enter. The rule of thumb is that you may carry only one light ball. Furthermore, what you don't see it doesn't exist, meaning that you must enlighten the path ahead in order to pass through, otherwise - there is no path and you fall down into an endless abyss of darkness. Your ultimate goal is to get to a door which leads to the next level. Sometimes, in order to see the door, you must use more than one light ball. In game instructions are usually very descriptive.
