Dont Escape 3

Outer space is a cold distant and unexplored place, sometimes deadly dangerous.

You play the role of a crew member, and astronaut who woke up with a big headache, knowing nothing about past events. While he was sleeping, someone or something had killed the captain along with the whole ship crew. You are practically left alone on the ship floating in the space heading towards the unknown.

The game takes off in an airlock, a decompressing room, full of all kind of technology and computers, where one of them is counting down to, probably the explosion, which is your first task to take care of, unless you want to get expelled in the open space. That would cause an instant death of course.

Your next assignment is to snoop around and find the clews about what had happened to everybody and who got them killed. Once the security system reports the presence of the intruder, your job would be not to abandon the ship but to try to lock in, and get secured from the outside threat. So, this would be something opposite from the classic escape games.

Not to get too deep into details, eventually you realize that the situation is hopeless and that the alien you've dealing with is stuck to the ship completely and inseparably. The only way to get rid of it and to secure the rest of humanity would be to do something noble and very brave from your side. To blow up the whole ship in order to destroy contamination once and for good. That would cost you life but it would save the whole world. A good spots to look at would be captain's log and watching tapes from security cameras.

Don't Escape 3 is a point and click adventure, what means that you change the static scenes and pick up object into inventory with the mouse click. Also, this is pixel-art game which means that the low resolution was intentional. According to a theory that way the player is more engaged into a gameplay than when the game has pefectly clear amazing 3d graphics. Well, that's arguable.

Apart from the great storyline, the background music and effects along with the atmosphere and the graphics are just all amazing. Scriptwelder, who did this, made a really great job.
