Dark Dayz 2

Dark Dayz is a top view zombie shooting game being played from the perspective of the survivor.

Brutal Studio lived up to its name with this title. I assume you don't expect zombie shooter to be scary, as this one won't be too, especially if made in flash technology.

On the other hand, this game is so well executed and represents only a 'prolog' version, while the full version made it's way to the Steam shelves.

As being said, you start off as the last survivor, who searched through a deserted house for supplies, food, ammo and guns, anything that could be well used against the representatives of a new world order. As usual, your job is to make sure to stay alive, as long as it takes to see the sunlight of another day. And, to blow up as many undead brains with the shotgun as you find convenient.

All in all, a lot of shooting ahead.

What I especially liked about this game are special effects. Not only that the surroundings look 3d-ish, the movings are quite smooth, but the explosions are very realistic as well. this gives a nice realistic touch to flash game, which is rarely seen.

What I didn't like was how they made all zombies look the same. I think the best part in zombie movies is to see how different people look like when zombified. This way, it seems as if developers focused only on a gameplay, which might get a little repetitive unless we saw some new zombies to spice up the story and makes us wonder 'how the big one looks like' and what's coming next. This way it's just all about shooting down same old targets all the way to the end. Not what'd you expect from the cool graphics in the splash screens at the beginning of the game?
